create. renovate. innovate.

Saseen Bonding Company, founded in 1922 by Freda and Isaac Saseen, is the oldest bail bonds company in Georgia. Beginning in the Saseen Grocery Store in downtown Savannah, the company later moved to Oglethorpe and Habersham, across from the jail and police station. For many years, bail bonds were issued by Freda and Isaac's sons, Robert and Eddie Saseen. In 1980, the office moved to Montgomery Street across from the Chatham County Jail and Courthouse, and in 2007, it moved to its current location on Carl Griffin Drive, just steps from the Chatham County Detention Center. Today, the bail bonds are provided by the grandsons of Freda and Isaac, Rob and Johnny, the third generation of the Saseen family to own and operate the company.

In 1999, the company expanded with the purchase of Akins Bail Bonds in Statesboro, Georgia, and in 2007, it opened Saseen Bonding of Effingham in Springfield, Georgia. The Saseen family has been providing bail bonds for the greater savannah area for over 90 years, making them the oldest, family-owned and operated provider of bail bonds in Savannah. With three locations, Saseen proudly serves the following counties: Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Bryan, Screven, Bulloch, Candler, and Jenkins.

Services Offered

Saseen Bonding Company provides bail bonds services to individuals who have been arrested and need help getting out of jail. The company offers 24/7 customer service to assist with life's unexpected moments at unexpected times. Saseen's convenient locations and exceptional customer service make them the leader in bail bonds.

As an indemnitor, you can rely on Saseen to notify you and the defendant of all court dates via mail and phone. It is the responsibility of both parties to ensure Saseen has current addresses and phone numbers on file. If the defendant misses court, the bond will be forfeited, and an arrest warrant will be issued for the defendant. The indemnitor is financially responsible for the entire amount of the bond until the court case is discharged. As long as the court case is discharged, the liability of the indemnitor is lifted. It is suggested that you, the indemnitor, play an active role in the court case to ensure that the defendant attends court as required.

Saseen Bonding Company has a proven record of customer service, having been in business for over 90 years. The company's professional staff is available 24/7 to answer any questions and provide assistance with the bail process. Saseen provides indemnitor and defendant with court date notification and is staffed to answer any questions you may have. Don't take the chance with another company that may not provide you with the assistance you need. Let the professionals at Saseen take the stress out of this already stressful situation.
