Plumbing Detectives LLC

At Plumbing Detectives LLC, we provide professional plumbing services throughout Venice, Sarasota, Nokomis, and Southwest Florida, emphasizing accurate diagnosis before recommending repairs. I’m Mike Reynolds, the company’s owner and a licensed master plumber (CFC1434139), fully insured and based in Venice Gardens. My experience includes Local 1 union training and extensive plumbing work throughout New York City, including major infrastructure projects, commercial renovations, and water treatment facilities. This background shapes our disciplined approach to residential plumbing problems. Our services include sewer camera inspections, thermal leak detection, plumbing assessments, pressure testing, repiping evaluations, and emergency plumbing assistance in Venice and surrounding communities.

Our philosophy is straightforward: identify the underlying problem, explain the findings, and recommend appropriate action. For sewer concerns, we use camera inspections to examine the pipe's interior before preparing repair estimates, allowing customers to view the evidence firsthand. When evaluating potential repiping projects, we conduct pressure testing and assess existing conditions before suggesting extensive work. This process helps distinguish necessary repairs from potentially avoidable replacements. We prioritize transparent pricing, documented findings, and practical recommendations rather than assumptions or unnecessary expenditures. Camera inspections are available for $325, while thermal leak detection costs $295. Emergency plumbing services are also available, with priority scheduling offered by phone.
