Our History and Philosophy

Established in 1990 by Bill and Judy Thompson, Lobo Lodge Boarding has been one of the most preferred and referred kennels in the Cincinnati area, including Hamilton County, Clermont County, and Brown County. In March 2023, the business was acquired by Shannon Bishop, who continues to uphold the "Home Away From Home" atmosphere that has always been Lobo Lodge's signature. With over 14 years of experience in the pet boarding industry and living on the property, Shannon ensures that your pet's daily routine remains comfortable and enjoyable.

Our Facility and Services

Lobo Lodge Boarding is located on over 7 wooded and secluded acres, providing a natural and peaceful environment for our clients. Our facility is only 20 minutes from Eastgate, making it easily accessible for pet owners in the surrounding areas.

We offer a variety of services designed to cater to the needs of your pet. Our overnight boarding includes large indoor/outdoor runs that are heated and air-conditioned, sanitized daily, and equipped with soothing background music during the day. The runs measure over 100 square feet, with options for even larger "Mega Runs" for pets requiring more space. We also offer discounts for longer stays, ensuring that your pet's extended vacation is both comfortable and affordable.

For pets that prefer less canine interaction, we provide day boarding services where your pet will have interaction with humans only and still enjoy outdoor activities and nap time. Additionally, our daycare service offers a fun-filled day of activities in our spacious play yard, complete with refreshments and a calm nap time.

Finally, we offer exit baths for your pet before they return home, ensuring they are clean and fresh after their stay with us.
