Stor Self Storage

We operate Stor Self Storage as a family business in Minnesota, where two generations currently work together and a third will soon become part of the business. Our extended family also plays a role in our daily operations. Because we have personally experienced storage services ourselves, we have chosen to build our business around being cleaner, nicer, and more attentive than the big storage providers. When customers visit us, they may encounter one of our family members at the facility. We provide affordable storage with rental choices designed around individual preferences, including both personal assistance and an online option that requires no conversation.

For customers who value direct service, a person is present at the facility during office hours, and phone assistance from a real person is available for extended hours. For those who would rather handle everything independently, online rentals remain available at any time. Facility access extends from 5:00 a.m. through midnight, and our moving options include drive-up, drive-through, and pull-up access. We have designed the facilities to reduce the distance customers need to travel while loading or unloading, and many units can be reached directly by vehicle. Temperature-controlled storage is supported by several dock options, a bay, and a drive-through. Customers moving in with a minimum $250 total relationship over time can use our 16-foot moving truck free for one day. Security measures include fenced and gated properties, state-of-the-art access controls, cameras, motion-activated interior lighting, LED wall lighting throughout the night, and cylinder locks. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments in person, online, or by phone, while cash and gift cards are no longer accepted. The cardholder name must correspond with the customer's name at move-in.
