I've been using New Orleans Mechanical Pros for our annual maintenance contract for three years now. They come out twice a year - spring and fall - clean the coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect the electrical, and give me a written report. Had a mini-split installed in my workshop/garage in Chalmette. The technician assessed the space, recommended the right BTU size for the square footage and ceiling height, and installed a Mitsubishi unit that runs whisper-quiet. He also explained how to use the inverter technology to save on electricity - I had no idea mini-splits were that efficient. The installation was clean, the lineset was routed neatly, and he even patched the wall penetration perfectly. Very happy.

Good experience overall. They were on time, diagnosed the problem quickly (bad blower motor), and had the part available. The repair took about 90 minutes. My only minor complaint is that they were a bit hard to reach by phone initially - had to leave a voicemail. But once they called back, everything went smoothly. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Would use again.

I called about a strange smell coming from my vents turned out to be a dead animal in the ductwork (not uncommon in older NOLA homes). The technician handled it professionally, sanitized the affected duct section, and did a full duct inspection while he was at it. He found two significant leaks that were costing me money every month. The duct sealing paid for itself within a few billing cycles. Very thorough and no judgment about the critter situation!
