We offer Aquatic Therapy in warm-water therapeutic pools for rehabilitation and exercise support. Licensed physical and occupational therapists provide individualized treatment and aquatic instruction. The therapy is used with short-term or outpatient rehabilitation programs. It improves mobility, strength, and flexibility safely. 
Whittier Rehabilitation Hospitals provide IRF services focused on intensive inpatient rehabilitation for patients needing advanced care. We concentrate on improving daily functioning and mobility to promote independence. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver coordinated, patient-centered treatment. We facilitate safe discharge planning to ensure return to home and community life. 
Our LTAC program receives patients from acute care hospitals following short inpatient stays. These patients require long-term treatment for complex acute and chronic conditions. Care is provided when immediate resolution of medical issues is not possible in other facilities. We focus on maintaining continuity of care while guiding rehabilitation toward discharge readiness. 
Patients may select Whittier for outpatient rehabilitation delivered with individualized attention. We schedule convenient appointments and ensure prompt clinical evaluations. Our outpatient facilities include expansive rehabilitation gyms exceeding 2,500 square feet, equipped with advanced technology and therapeutic pools. Our rehabilitation team spans multiple disciplines, and we incorporate real-world training environments and innovative equipment such as AlterG treadmill. 
We deliver individualized Physical Therapy care for patients with a wide range of functional limitations. Treatment plans are developed following an initial evaluation of diagnoses, abilities, and goals. Our approach targets mobility, flexibility, and pain management using evidence-based techniques. We also emphasize patient education to support sustained improvement and prevent further complications. 
Our Prosthetics & Orthotics services are provided in collaboration with Cornell Orthotics & Prosthetics, offering individualized evaluations and customized solutions for artificial limbs and orthopedic bracing. Patients with amputations attend weekly clinics to support mobility restoration. Care delivered across Bradford and Westborough is coordinated through integrated referrals and a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapists, and physicians. 
We provide pulmonary rehabilitation services across accredited acute rehabilitation hospitals in Whittier Health Network. Bradford serves greater Boston and Merrimack Valley, while Westborough serves central Massachusetts patients. Program aims to improve functional capacity and quality of life for individuals with lung disorders. Clinicians coordinate with pulmonologists, delivering supervised exercise, education, support, and behavioral intervention services.

Dr. Liguori earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of NY at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a Master of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Liguori is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Certified Wound Care Specialist.

My daughter was recently in a serious ski accident. Post surgery, and after a one month hospital stay, she was transferred to Whittier rehab in Bradford. We could not have been happier or more satisfied with the level of care, patience and kindness that she received. From the initial care coordinators to Drs Ligouri and Pant, the nurses and CNAs, as well as the outstanding work with Victoria from PT, and Emmarose from OT, she couldnt have been in better hands while at Whittier. She learned the tools to become mobile again and is on her way to full recovery.

My 91 year old mother spent two weeks at Whittier after having surgery for an obstructed bowel. She got excellent care from the nursing staff regarding her incision, physical and occupational therapy that helped her get stronger and manage her own care too! She is now home and feeling better every day!

My brother was at Whittier in Bradford. The nurses, PT, nutritionist & Dr Pant & Dr Lynn were amazing! Such great care. They understood my brother was near passing & I did not want my brother moved. We had hospice care along with the staff at Whittier. I am very happy he passed away in peace. Thank you again for the great care & compassion.

Whittier Rehab has been such a positive force in my brother Toms recovery post brain surgery. The gains my brother has been able to achieve are because of the dedication and attention they poured into him! All of the therapists: Occupational, Physical, and Speech are all caring and patient individuals who truly care about their patients safety and progress, we are so thankful to them all! Drs Breen and Ligouri have been instrumental in getting Tom the correct therapy and management to keep him moving forward in his ongoing recovery. They truly are amazing physicians who care for each of their patients. Jolene and Paula are two of the finest, caring nurses we have ever encountered, and it is such a pleasure to see them and work with them. We are a Whittier family for life!

I have never been in a rehabilitation hospital before my experience at Whittier following a stroke that needless to say was shocking to myself and my family. I had no idea what to expect accept I knew how deeply I wanted to get better. Whittier met and exceeded those hopes. I cannot say enough about how fabulous and amazing their PT and OT personnel are. There was never a boring or routine day. Every day brought new ways to help in my reaching goals I never thought Id be able to do again. Id finish sessions with amazed joy and sense of such blessings for my therapists. I HIGHLY recommend Whittier for their stroke recovery program as well as all other serious recoverys from acute illnesses. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Meg and Meghan and all staff at Whittier!!! Now I begin my out patient rehabilitation at, of course, Whittier.

I understand healthcare because it's been my life's endeavor. Whittier's rehabilitation facility was selected for my restoration, of a complex fractured hip, because it was geographically located near my daughter's home. My preference would have been to be closer to my own home in Winchester. My daughter's choice, however, proved to be a God's send for my rehabilitation.
