I attended the TCC Regional Automotive Center after completing high school, where I studied automotive technology and also took courses to become a service writer. With over a decade of experience in customer service, five of those years have been spent in the automotive industry.

Incredible price and incredible customer service. Most places I called were quoting me 15K for an engine swap without a warranty. They gave me a quote for 10K and I have a 3 year warranty on the engine. They also did the whole swap in like 3 days, so I was back on the road in no time!

London Bridge Auto and Transmission Repair exceeded our expectations with a full transmission rebuild on our 2016 GMC Sierra. After dealing with a shady shop who initially rebuilt our transmission (twice), the difference in service at this shop was night and day. First off, they are 100% transparent with their costs and the work that is being completed on your vehicle. On top of that, their customer service is phenomenal. They kept us updated throughout the entire process and completely rebuilt our transmission in less than a week. Overall, they perform honest work and we have highly recommended them to our neighbors and friends. If any work on our vehicles is needed in the future, we will drive the extra distance to take our vehicles back to this shop.

Tyler and his crew gave EXCELLENT service. From meeting the price he quoted for a major repair to handling some minor issues while performing the Virginia state safety inspection that nearly any other shop Ive been to would have nickel and dimed me for and taken the $40 I was charged for the inspection and replacing a fog light bulb to well over $100 anywhere else. All in all my experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for good service and fair prices. Thanks for everything, Tyler. Kudos to you and your crew!

I went in wanting a second opinion on my 2004 volvo thinking I had a transmission or engine problem because of the way the car was driving. A previous place said I had problems with both and wanted 3.9k. London Bridge didnt try to upsell me and took a couple days with the car and said they couldnt find any problems related to that, but told me I did have a fuel leak, which I already knew to be true. They had to replace it, and they were very kind and worked with me about the price. They didnt make me feel stupid if I wasnt knowledgeable on something and they were very honest and didnt take advantage. The car drives a lot better now and all the problems I previously had have gone away, leading me to believe it really was just the fuel tank needing to be replaced and not the engine/ transmission.

I brought my vehicle in due to damage from a flood. I needed an engine replacement, which I was nervous about but they explained everything to me and I felt like my vehicle was in good hands after that. They kept in contact with me regarding the claim and were very helpful with the insurance company and getting this resolved in a timely manner! I would recommend them to anyone that needed any work done to their vehicle.

They all were super nice and accommodating for my situation. They seemed well knowledgeable and definitely had their stuff together. I will say personally, that the prices they charge are extremely high for what the supplies and labor is truly worth. I needed a few things replaced in my vehicle such as my throttle body and they wanted to charge me a little less than 8 times what the real cost of a throttle body is. I ended up doing it myself and it only took an hour (because I had never replaced it before) and the part itself was $90 total for everything. Beside this, if you are able to afford their pricing their work is super well done and you know you're not getting scammed out of anything.

After a couple of weeks of trouble shooting and replacing parts, I eventually diagnosed a blow head gasket in my V6 Grand Cherokee. Speaking with Tyler, he gave me pricing and explained he wanted to run a few tests based on his experience before moving forward with an engine replacement. Once he had the jeep, he quickly confirmed the blown head gasket and we ordered the replacement engine. Communication was top tier, professional, and his team worked quickly and held true to their schedule. The prices were about 5-10% higher than some of the other quotes that I received, but everything about this process makes it worth paying more. I have piece of mind knowing that quality work has been done and that they will stand by their work. I plan to continue to use their services whenever theyre needed!

5 Stars Just Aint Enough
Massive shoutout to the crew at London Bridge Auto and Transmission Repair in Virginia Beach! These legends squeezed my 2012 F250 in on short notice during a brutal 110 heat index day because apparently my truck decided it wanted to become a sauna on wheels.
Well, not anymore. Now its basically a mobile meat locker. Im talking frosty vents, people. Like, Titanic iceberg level cold. I half expected Leo DiCaprio to pop out of the glovebox.
But it gets better, I called them about my old 1977 F150 Ranger, rocking that original R12 A/C system (aka prehistoric dinosaur juice). Ive owned that truck for nearly a decade and have been rolling windows down like its 1985. These guys brought that AC back to life like a scene out of a mechanic-themed zombie movie. Now Im cruising those summer nights in a classic with the cold air cranked and zero sweat stains in sight.
Top notch service, straight shooters, no upsell nonsense. If your ride needs help, this is the place. Whether its a workhorse or a weekend cruiser, London Bridge Auto And Transmisson Repair gets it done right.

The service advisor was knowledgeable. When asked about OEM Parts ( Transmission Filter, Pan Gasket, ATF+4 ) He said his choice was to use factory Mopar. The work was completed on time and the visual inspection of the fluids was noted from the advisor. I was satisfied with the work and the price for the transmission maintenance service
