I had an outstanding experience working with Motha Electric. Ron and son Jeff are a father-son business, with an excellent team behind them. They dedicated 2 days to updating the electric in a home we purchased. They were on time, worked efficiently, and were extremely detail oriented. They gave excellent advice on certain products to buy in order to save us money in the long run. These guys were fantastic - definitely would recommend them to anyone. We had bought our house recently and one of our smoke detectors was faulty - this caused us many headaches because we have young kids and it would trigger our whole house.
Jeff was able to come out quickly and get everything replaced quickly and for a fair price. We also had him do additional work on our main breaker board and add a few outdoor outlets. It was all done well and quickly which was fantastic.
We know we will sleep well and safely thanks to the Motha electric team!

Had them install an EV charger- Jeff came to me with 4 options based on his site visit- we had other estimates and his was very competitive for each option.
Every step of the way. I got timely, clear communication and they did the installation on time and quickly. There were some minor issues with my panel that they corrected for free as well.
I will continue to use them in the future after a very positive experience!

Had Motha out recently to upgrade my panel. The entire process was great start to finish. The team was super professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Gave me multiple options to fix the problem I was having. Day of the install went super smooth and they kept me updated throughout the process. Make no mistake about it- Motha Electric can handle any scenario you face. Jeff Motha is running a family business with a great deal of expertise and pride. We had a punch list ranging from exterior post lamp replacement to power box updating and many other tasks. They encountered some problems because of the way our house was built and worked through every one of them with good cheer, although the prices were set in advance. No detail was left unturned, including meticulous cleanup. Jeff and team are thoroughly professional and accommodating at every turn, and very nice to boot. Very glad to have found them!

Jeff and his team were simply outstanding. Incredibly transparent, good communication throughout, and a very fair price. They gave us recommendations that were spot on, and even spotted potential long term issues and gave us a variety of ways (at different price points) to address them. The quality of their work was fantastic, and they cleaned up after themselves. Jeff is genuinely concerned with doing a good job. Safe to say we have found our electrician for life!
