While riding his bike on the sidewalk, my son ripped his foot open on a broken street sign pole that was bent over and jagged from a previous hurricane. The pole was never repaired or removed and jutted out near the sidewalk. My son has a nasty scar but has fully recovered. All I wanted was for the city to pay the hospital bills but that would never happen without an attorney. Mitch and Sarah at Chubb law listened to our problem and offered solutions. We communicated via text and as they worked through the case they checked on us often and were responsive and very friendly. They took excellent care of us during the entire process!! We decided not to go to court and settled for a fair amount which exceeded all of the medical bills. When I picked the check up from the office, they also gave my son and myself a nice gift. What a stark contrast Chubb Law is to my previous experience with a law firm. After being rear-ended while stopped at a red traffic signal by an impaired driver on prescription drugs, I went to a big name firm that advertises around Orlando on billboards. Years have gone by and I get occasional calls, many months apart, almost always from a new paralegal or newly assigned associate. They are unfamiliar with the case and uniformly unresponsive to my requests for information. It is painfully obvious that I don't matter. I wish I had known Mitch and Chubb Law back then.
