I had expanding foam insulation installed in the walls of my 1954 house by RetroGreen of St. Cloud. (Although the blown in attic insulation I had hired 5 years prior helped utility costs tremendously, the old wall batting was making little difference in heat retention.Or keeping cool.The new furnace ran often.)
A great 3 man crew arrived on time; they were polite, got along well, worked efficiently, and clean up was like " they had never been there." My foundation plants survived very well and were treated with care. The double dutch lap siding was handled expertly.
Exterior sound from the neighborhood was reduced immediately. There's little doubt in my mind that propane and electricity usage will be reduced. It feels even more of a sweet, cozy little house now.

The crews arrived right at the time expected, went right to work and everyone seemed to know just what their job was. Worked very well together and were very courteous and concerned whether or not I had any questions about the process. The job went very well and when they were finished, everything was cleaned up just like they had never been there. I am sure when winter comes we will notice a big difference in the warmth of our 100+ year old house.

We hired Retrogreen Energy to complete a retro installation of foam insulation in our existing walls. We have an old house with orignal newspaper insulation that was just not cutting it to keep us warm in MN winters.
The consultation and installation process went very smoothly. The company took care of the available rebate paperwork which was great
The crew completing the installation was very professional and communicated well with me throughout the day. It took just over half a day to complete the work from arrival to completed cleanup. We have cedar shakes as siding, and after the installation, we could hardly tell the work had been done.

RetroGreen was great to work with! After coming to them with concerns about temperature fluctuations in our 2nd floor, they were quickly able to identify the problem (literally no insulation), and come back with a quote. They were able to fit us in quickly after receiving the down payment and clearly laid out all the tax and rebates available to us. Were very happy with the work and are excited to not freeze this winter!

Great experience and extremely professional crew! They insulated the attic spaces in our 1 1/2 story house. This reduced our air leakage by 38% Seriously! Executed a combination of foams and blown fill exactly as planned, arrived and completed on schedule, and kept everything extremely clean! Even sent me pictures of the final installation for my records! I wish all my contractors were this professional!

Everyone associated with this project was professional and pleasant from the owner who provided the initial overview and quote to the crew who worked in the hottest weather of the summer to complete my project on time. It was a sizable investment in my 1949 home. I immediately noticed the reduction in outside noise and an improvement on what was a drastic difference in temperatures between main level and second story.

Chris had a large crew doing our attic crawl space. Several trucks and lots of equipment. They had to open up the roof to access this tight space. The crew removed the old crappy insulation, foamed in new for R-60, repaired the roof with matching shingles. They where finishing up as the rain came. Excellent timing guys.
I am glad the team was so well prepared and did good job of cleaning up. We can feel the difference in our home already.

RetroGreen made two visits for our project. The first was to remove all the existing insulation in our attic in preparation for replacing HVAC ductwork. The second was to spray foam the new ductwork and seal gaps where it penetrated walls and floors. Foaming took place in the attic, main level and a crawl.
At each visit the crews showed up exactly on time. They confirmed the work to be done and asked multiple times if we had any questions before starting. They were good humored and engaging which is a monster plus for me. They worked efficiently and quickly. The finished work is better than we expected.

We hired RetroGreen Energy to help us come up with a sound proofing plan for a spin studio in a busy office complex. We executed the plan and the final results were better than we anticipated. We have zero transfer of sound out of the workout rooms, even when the stereo system is turned all the way up. We will defiantly be using RetroGeen Energy again in the future! Great job, from initial contact, thru energy audit, quote, and install. Every question I had was answered and explained. Paul and crew were on time, courteous, and did an awesome job! We had a few "problem areas", and they were taken care of on the same day. House is noticably quieter and temps inside are more even. Haven't had to run the furnace since they were here, but the AC definitely doesn't run as much as before! Now, can't wait to see how the house does this winter! The crew led by Paul was on time and extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. The work they did, taking out the old attic insulation and replacing it with foam and blown in insulation was amazing. I am completely impressed by their workmanship and professionalism. We contacted Home Advisors who gave us 3 companies to contact for adding insulation to our home. RetroGreen had their "act" together and after doing an energy audit of our house, Paul pointed out the areas where we were lacking sufficient insulation and air leaks. Sam came and took the measurements and gave us a quote. We had to wait longer than we liked to have the work done but have found out that the busy contractors are usually the ones that do the best job. Cody brought the crew in yesterday (half hour earlier than we were told). They went right to work and vacuumed out the old insulation and sealed the areas that leaked, built boxes around fixtures that stuck up into attic. and made a frame around ladder going into attic. Then they sprayed R-60 cellulose insulation into attic, making sure the ventilation needed was there. They cleaned the work area up including the ladder. I highly recommend RetroGreenEnergy

The company representative at the home improvement trade show was knowledgeable and easy-going, which made it easier to ask for a home visit. The scheduler and estimator were friendly and responsive, and gave straight answers quickly. And the crew was best of all: punctual, professional, personable, and thorough. From first meeting to completed project was less than a month, and I'm very happy with the results.
