The thought of creating an estate plan seemed overwhelming and time consuming. It's something we knew we needed to do, but we kept putting it off...then my stepdad died.
He didn't have a Will or estate plan and sorting through his estate was more work than it needed to be. There was NO WAY I was going to go through that process again when my mother passes.
