I was very happy with the service I received. Max, the lead technician, came to my home when scheduled and did a free assessment. I feel like they did enough to ensure my home was free of mold and water damage. Yet they were careful not to charge me for unnecessary remediation. Their price and Analysis was better than 2 other companies I checked. I also had the pleasure of meeting Rob, the owner of the company, when payment was due. He too was very kind and professional.

I called a few places my insurance company recommended for a water damage inspection due to a broken water heater. 1-800 Water Damage offered a free estimate and came out same day. I was very impressed with the quick, courteous, informative and professional response from Katie and Max. I ultimately didnt have enough damage to warrant an insurance claim but if I ever need restoration services I would call here again. My husband and I returned to our home in Colorado Springs after an absence. The water lines had ruptured, with extensive flooding on the lower level of our home. Katie came out promptly and was super helpful! I was worried that there were some serious mold issues in my basement bathroom and that it would cost me big time. But she came out and told me that there was nothing to worry about and gave me a few options for taking care of surface mold. She didn't even charge me and was extremely professional and knowledgable! Plus I got stung by a wasp as I was about to meet her in my driveway, so she saw me in some real agony. So I think we're best friends now.

When we discovered that we had a leak in our basement ceiling, Michael came out and was immediately able to pinpoint the cause. Michael used equipment that was able to show the areas that had water penetration without damaging our flooring or walls. Based upon his expertise, we were able to locate the source of the problem and repair it at minimal cost. Michaels honesty, professionalism and expertise are truly amazing! 1800 water damage came to our rescue when we had a big sewer backup into our basement laundry room/storage room. They came out first thing in the morning and cleaned up everything. I was embarrassed by all the gunk and wanted to clean before they came out, but they said no they had machines to take care of that problem. They threw away what was not salvageable and disinfected the rest. Katie was very helpful and called often to see where we stood as other problems needed to be addressed. We were very satisfied with this company and would recommend them highly

I had a ton of water in my crawl space (clean space, so it wouldn't drain). It was practically a swimming pool. They came out quickly, were able to accommodate with the equipment.they couldn't bring it down the stairs, because they were damaged and couldn't hold the weight. They got all the water out and the space dried, so there is no moldy smell. I would definitely use them again.

A garbage disposal leak uncovered what could've potentially been a serious water damage issue in my recently purchased home - thankfully Mike from 1800 water damage got to my home within an hour of my initial call, explained what needed to happen, & then the very next morning came out & inspected all the potentially damaged areas. Thankfully everything received a clean bill of health, however in the process he uncovered a few other minor leaks that, fixing now, will save me a bundle later.
His team also includes a drywaller, so the small holes that were cut to inspect will be fixed without me having to find someone else. I would recommend their services to anyone!
