Top-notch! For someone who is extremely anxious about dental care and one with trauma to my teeth, I must say that this has been the experience I have ever had at the Dentist. The entire staff from beginning to end was so kind and compassionate going above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Truly informative and able to give me both short- long term solutions. Sparkling Charms recently opened its doors in Riverside. I had a appointment on 6/1/24 and was pleased to find that this dental practice is a really superb addition to the neighborhood. Dr Robinson and Dr Spates are great-patient-focused, talented, smart, personable, totally current on best practices in dental care, and with hearts for dentistry. Too many dental practices in Baltimore run first as businesses rather than as healthcare facilities that put patient needs first (like advising crowns rather than filings when a filing would work and cost less for the patient). Sparkling Charms is focused first and foremost on patient needs.
One senses this in every detail in how they manage their dental practice. The staff are all super friendly and professional. Dental equipment is current state of the art and everything is new. All in all, my expectations were exceeded with this appointment and I recommend Sparkling Charms, Dr Robinson and Dr. Spates unconditionally.

Our recent experience with Dr. Spates was nothing short of exceptional! After transferring to her dental studio, my daughters were met with incredible patience and gentleness. We took our 4 year-old for a dental appointment and they were amazing! Not only did they do everything that makes a 4 year-old feel comfortable - choice in color of protective glasses and flavor used to clean, paw patrol playing on the screen above his chair, etc. - they were also warm, professional, and provided useful education on pediatric dental hygiene. The office is beautiful with a fun mural of the Ravens mascot. The appointment happened right on time and was efficient.

We took our 15-month old to their first dentist appointment, and Dr. Spates was great. She gave us some tips on brushing and toothpaste options, and we were out of the office in less than 45 minutes. The office is beautifully designed and clean, and the themed rooms are so visually appealing. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

We had an excellent experience at Sparkling Charms Dental Studio. From our arrival until we left everybody was very friendly and professional. Dr. Irene Spates was amazing. We had a great first time experience at the Sparkling Charms Dental Studio! The office is clean and the decor is really cool! We didn't wait long at all, but the dental assistant turned on a show of our toddler's choice while the room was prepped. Everyone was extremely pleasant and Dr. Spates was great with our toddler! I am so happy to have found a dental home.

This was our 15 months old daughter's first dentist appointment and it went great! Everyone is friendly and great at catering to kids. The office is new and clean. They did a wonderful job going slowly with my daughter and making her appointment fun and not scary. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood and they also see adults too which is a bonus!

You should definitely check them out! Nice office with brand new stuff, attentive staff from scheduling to checking in at the front desk and the doctors are awesome. We saw Dr. Spates for my daughter and Dr. Robinson for myself. My daughter was taken good care of and totally impressed with the tv's on the ceiling. That's an excellent touch while you get your cleaning. They get bonus points because the bathroom is equipped with a nice changing table that had supplies you need.
