Thank you to Corilon and to Dr. Roeben for their time, their help and for providing with such a beautiful instrument. I really fell for the sound that was posted online and I can assure you that it's very representative of what the instrument can produce. The fact that the website is so well designed, so well updated and that Corilon replied within less than an hour to all my emails (even a year after my purchase) shows that it's a very serious house.
I can definitely recommend Corilon to advanced conservatoire students or former students (such as myself). PS. I was a little worried about the concept of shipping a violin, but once you see how well packed it is, you know nothing will happen to it.

My experience has been very pleasant. First, the description on the website was perfectly acurate, so knowing what playing/sound qualities I wanted from the bow, it was easy to select the right one. Then, Corilon's Dr Annette Roeben has been very responsive to my questions. Shipment was fast and the bow was safely packaged. Knowing I have 30 days to decide if I want to keep the bow or send it back feels safe. However, after 3 days, I already know it's the right bow for me, so I've already made my decision to keep it.

I bought a violin from Corilon a couple of months ago and must say, having bought it just from the sound recordings on the Corilon site was slightly worried about it but it has turned out to be my best Violin ever and has vastly improved the reception of my playing. the description was accurate it was delivered safely and I love it. Great company. I will use them again.

Highly trusted professionals. My violin arrived in the middle of a snowstorm "attacking" Greece. It was perfectly packed leaving no worries for its safety. Pictures very precise and audio demo perfectly accurate. An outstanding french violin with a strong supreme sound. Excellent communication, Dr. Roeben was very helpful during the whole procedure and gave her feedback immediately when asked. Great acknowledgements to Corilon Violins.

Corilon is not just a seller of instruments - it is very reliable and trusted partner. I purchased two french bows unfortunately none of them fit my playing style. We returned them and get full refund. Everything in this site is absolutely transparent and safe. I will visit them soon at their place in Munich.

We have purchased two violins from them. The first was an amazing value for an amazing sounding violin from about 1885. My professional level instructor was very impressed by it. Next we bought one that was not quite what we were looking for, but no worries, their return and exchange policy works just as advertised and we ended up with another excellent violin. We were very happy with the customer service and return policy. And extremely happy with the value and quality of our violins.

I am thrilled with the viola I purchased from Corilon! I have had it now for several weeks and have been able to perform using it. I could not be more pleased. It is a beautifully restored viola and has such a warm and mellow tone for the price range - exactly what I was hoping. I appreciate the obvious care and skill your company exercises in restoring and providing these instruments. I'm so glad I found you online. Dr. Roeben was immediately responsive with any request for information, even weeks after I received my viola.
Being a resident of the USA, I was nervous to spend so much money ordering an instrument from Germany sight unseen and without being able to play it first, but the 30 day trial period and the helpfulness of Dr. Roeben online convinced me. The process was smooth, the shipping was exactly as promised, and I was well-informed all along the way. I'm so glad I took the chance! I am pleased to highly recommend this violin shop. Thank you Corilon violins!
