Welcome to our practice, where we are dedicated to improving relationships and creating connections, while reducing anxiety. We are headed by Dr. Julie B. Wolter, a seasoned psychologist who has been in private practice since 2005. Our passion is to foster meaningful, prosperous, and life-changing relationships, both in personal and professional lives.
Dr. Wolter received her doctorate degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Northwest Campus. She has provided psychological services in various settings, including hospitals, community mental health, schools, and private practice. Her approach is rooted in the belief that relationships are built on feeling understood, validated, and accepted, rather than just communication.
We specialize in relationship improvement, offering services such as couple's therapy, relationship coaching, and business relationship consulting. Our approach is tailored to each unique situation, aiming to identify and improve the meaningful relationships in your life.

*Couple's Therapy*: If you're feeling stuck in a negative cycle of arguing, blaming, misunderstanding, or tension, or if you're just not talking anymore, we can help. Our therapy aims to improve your interactions, so you feel more connected and able to talk through hurts and disconnection to healing and resolution.
*Relationship Coaching*: This is a separate service from couple's therapy. It helps you identify negative cycles, build connection skills, and highlights strengths. We identify and discuss differences in your styles of communication and processing, without diving deep into emotional processing and healing that can result in symptoms covered by insurance.
*Business Relationships*: We believe that improving relationships allows companies to achieve goals, build profits, and retain a loyal customer base. We tailor our services to your unique situation, so call us for more information!
*Individual Therapy*: We also provide short-term therapy for anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship issues. Sometimes, the first step to relationship improvement is increasing your own self-knowledge.
*Financial Therapy*: Money can cause significant stress regardless of your financial position. Stress can be reduced by building your understanding of your relationship with money. We offer short-term therapy to help you prepare for a visit with a financial advisor.
*Teletherapy*: We provide telepsychology to individuals and couples wanting to improve anxiety, stress, relationships, and self-esteem. Talk therapy through the computer is not for everyone, so call us to arrange an initial phone call to discuss your situation and whether this mode of therapy is right for you.
