At Penguin City Swim, we are dedicated to providing top-notch swimming lessons to kids and adults alike in New York City. With two convenient locations on the Upper West Side and Midtown East, we offer personalized lessons tailored to each swimmer's particular needs. Our mission is to positively impact our students' self-esteem, physical development, and overall confidence both in and out of the water, by providing life-saving water safety skills and superior swim instruction in a fun, relaxed environment.
Our Philosophy
At Penguin City Swim, we believe that swimming is a vital skill that can benefit individuals of all ages. That's why we cover all aspects of swimming, always focusing on safety in and around the water. Our instructors teach the fundamentals and coach dedicated swimmers to a level where they are able to join a swim team, become a certified lifeguard, and/or become a certified swim instructor. We accept students of all ages and abilities, from 6 months to adults.
Our Services
We offer a range of swimming lessons, including private, semi-private, and group lessons, as well as specialized programs for adults and children. Our programs are designed to be flexible and accommodating, with classes available on Sundays from 10AM to 2PM at John Jay College. We also offer swim team clinics to help prepare children for school swim teams.
