At Ferocity Dance Company, we are proud to be a Latin dance company based in Northern Virginia, specializing in various styles of Bachata. Our studio is more than just a dance school - it's a family-oriented environment where anyone can feel welcome and supported. Founded in 2012 by Kat Arias, our mission is to provide a safe space for people of all backgrounds to come together and share their passion for dance.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services to cater to different needs and interests. For those who want to take their dancing skills to the next level, we have competitive training programs and performance teams. Our competitive group has been participating in competitions since 2015, and we also offer Pro-Am opportunities for couples and amateur students. If you're looking to improve your social dancing skills, we have group classes, private lessons, and specialty workshops available in-person and virtually.
Dance Styles and Specializations
Our dance company focuses on Bachata Fusion, which combines elements of ballroom and other dance styles with Bachata to create a unique and distinct style. We also offer instruction in Ballroom and Latin styles for those preparing for special events such as weddings and Quinceneras.

Our Founder
Kat Arias, our founder and director, created Ferocity Dance Company with the goal of building a community where anyone can feel like family. Kat's passion for dance was inspired by her father, who was a constant source of support and encouragement. After losing her father to cancer in 2014, Kat was determined to keep his memory alive by pursuing her dream of creating a safe space for dancers to grow and thrive.
