Our Story
Y.I.S. Benefits was founded by Michael Schellbach, who got his start in the insurance industry in January 2009. After working in South Florida call centers selling limited medical plans designed for people with medical issues, Michael realized that the plans he was selling were not very beneficial to the clients. This led him to search for better insurance options for the public. In 2011, Michael and his business partner created their first insurance agency, Your Insurance Solution. Over the next 7 years, Your Insurance Solution insured over 10,000 lives across the country. In April 2019, Michael and his business partner decided to go in different directions, and Michael rebranded the YIS name into a new agency, Y.I.S. Benefits.
