About Our Founder
Jill Hicks, the founder of Scarlet Oak Acupuncture, received her MSTOM (Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. After working 10 fast-paced years in international development and traveling extensively in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, Jill was left sick, tired, and unsure of how to start building herself back up. She discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has since dedicated her life to helping others achieve optimal health.
