Dr. Maximilian Erdely
Co-Founder
Dr. Erdely has practiced acupuncture since 1977 and helped establish licensure in New Mexico. He studied with Nakozono Sensei and Amazonian shamans, earning his Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree in Harbin, China. He continues teaching and researching cross-cultural medical practices.
Dr. Ren Ashtara
Co-Founder
Dr. Ashtara graduated from Southwest Acupuncture Integral College and studied with Navajo shamans, Tibetan Buddhist lamas, and Ayurvedic practitioners. She brings expertise in yoga, meditation, and Tibetan medicine to her integrative practice, working with Dr. Erdely since 2009.
