Distinctive Interiors is a full-service, award-winning interior design company offering luxury residential and commercial services. Our firm is licensed by the State of Florida Architectural Board (FL License #ID6153) and fully insured. With over 300+ manufacturers, custom craftsmen, tradespeople, and European imports, we provide our clients with the most unique and distinctive furnishings and products.
Our principal designer and owner, Stephanie Nolan, has over 30+ years of experience in the interior design industry. She is a formally trained, NCIDQ certified professional member of ASID. Stephanie has been recognized for her award-winning designs, published nationally and locally. She established Distinctive Interiors in 2015 after nearly 25 years of working in architectural firms and interior design companies.
Our team includes Barbara Benigni, Allied ASID, a senior interior designer with an extensive background in luxury residential building. Barbara specializes in custom wine rooms, Himalayan salt therapy rooms, saunas, and golf simulation rooms. Jim Nolan, our VP of Finance, handles financials and manages trades, vendors, and subcontractors. Valentina Puscuta is our accountant, keeping our office on track with accounting and books.
MaryKate and Genie are our design assistants who perform weekly order tracking, assist with design presentations, installations, and maintain our beautiful office's organization. Tasha, our office dog, greets all clients and delivery people, published in Home & Design Magazine Suncoast Edition Fall 2023 and Greenhouse Fabrics 2024 Calendar as "Ms. July."
