At Light Forge Studios, we're a team of passionate filmmakers and creatives who are dedicated to bringing your vision to life. Founded in 2008 by filmmaking brothers Jerry, Scott, and Mike Thompson, our studio is built on the idea that cameras capture light and we forge it into stories.
Our Background
We started out as a group of friends who shared a passion for filmmaking. We began by creating our own personal projects, driven by our love of storytelling and creativity. As we honed our skills and refined our craft, we realized that we had a unique ability to bring people's ideas to life on the big and small screens.

Featured Films and Projects
Here's a taste of what we've worked on in the past:
- Sword Of! Films: A couple ding dongs witness a falling star, then some weird stuff happens. This movie won Best Nevada Film at the Dam Short Film Festival.
- Cactus Story Films: Steve the Cactus breaks down how the universe works. A very short film we wrote, shot, and cut.
- Do No Good - Same Sex Mary Music Video: Music video we shot for local Las Vegas band Same Sex Mary for their song "Do No Good." First Place winner at the Las Vegas Film Festival.
- Dealer "I'll Always Remember What's His Name" Films: This is our section of the anthology film Dealer, a feature length movie from multiple directors. It's about a craps dealer who gets forced to be a drug dealer.
- Clock Wipe Films: 2016 submission for the 48 Hour Film Project.
