• Cylinder Services: Our cylinder services include repair and manufacture of any size cylinder, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder repair and manufacture, and supply of new cylinders. Our cylinder repair process is designed to provide complete in-house service, ensuring timely and quality repairs.
• Glands and Seal Kits: We offer after-market seal kits and glands, both metric and standard. Our team can identify and duplicate metric and standard seal kits, engineer or reverse engineer any seal kits, and manufacture custom seal kits to meet your specific needs.
• Machining and Specialty Repair: In addition to cylinder repair and manufacture, D.A.S. Services specializes in custom machining, welding and fabrication. We have the capability to repair or rebuild almost anything, including foreign or obsolete machine parts.
• Press Repair and Manufacture: D.A.S.Services is a one-stop shop for complete press service, repair, and manufacture. We can work with you on any issue your press might have, from the smallest issue to a complete rebuild.

D.A.S. History

D.A.S. Services began as a small, portable, welding repair operation in 1992. Founder and president David A. Short has been working hard to grow that humble business into the quality, hydraulic and pneumatic shop it is today. Locally owned and operated, D.A.S. proudly serves primarily the Midwest, but our unique services and respected reputation have earned us a much broader clientele across the U.S.

D.A.S. Leadership

David Short, President and Chief Operating Officer, is a certified welder by trade with over 30 years of experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication. Kevin Bussard, Assistant Vice President and Director of Sales, joined D.A.S. in 1995 and has over 20 years of experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, and sales. Barbara Short CFA, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is a Chartered Financial Analyst with over 20 years of experience in office and strategic management.
