Our History

Lauck Manufacturing Co., Inc. was founded in 1882 by John Lauck, specializing in tin fabrication and slate roof work. The company has since become one of the oldest sheet metal manufacturing companies in the Midwest. Our family-owned business has been committed to providing high-quality parts and exceptional service to our customers for over 130 years. Until 1986, the Lauck family owned the company, with Charles B. (Bunny) Lauck retiring and selling the business to Daniel A. Slightom, a former student of the company and veteran of General Motors Allison Transmission Davison transmission design department.

Welding

Our welding department is staffed with highly skilled welders who are cross-trained in both MIG and TIG operations. We regularly work with complicated weldments fabricated from steel and stainless steel.

We partner with local powder coating companies to provide our customers with completed fabrications that are ready for their next step in the manufacturing process.
