Our Services
We offer a wide range of services to cater to all your painting needs. From cabinets to exterior and interior painting, we have got you covered. Our cabinet services include finishing new or remodeled kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, mudroom, built-ins, wet bars, and any other cabinet types. We can do enamel in oil or water base and varnishing in oil or water base, stain, and lacquer.
Our exterior services include reviewing all surfaces to be painted before recommending the best paint for the job. We offer water-based, oil-based, stain, and clear coat for different surfaces like cement board, wood, steel siding, columns, windows, and doors. For new construction, we offer quality prepping such as plastic covering. For remodeling jobs, we power wash, sand, scrape, and apply caulking for repairs.
Our interior services include finishing walls and ceilings with latex paint, and we offer a variety of sheens like flat, satin, eggshell, and semi-gloss. Our interior services also include trim, windows, doors, columns, railings, and crown molding to paint (enamel), stain, varnish, or lacquer with the ability to custom match from existing wood stain or paint color if needed or custom match any sample you bring from any brand.
We also offer commercial and industrial painting services, including new construction, remodels, office buildings, townhomes, condominiums, apartments, and more. Our commercial services include painting and applying various types of coatings for different surfaces like ceiling, walls, floors, metal, and exterior. We can take care of any size commercial project from a single unit to a large commercial complex.
Our industrial services include sand blasting, abrasive blasting, water blasting, industrial cleaning, specialty coating, pipeline coating, storage tank painting, silo painting, and coating, epoxy coating, steel and metal structure painting, corrosion resistant coating, and painting. We also offer roof coating services using Astec re-ply roofing systems to upgrade metal, rubber, asphalt, and other roofs to "better than original" performance with seamless, elastomeric cool roof benefits.
Meet Our Team
Our team is led by Luis Puentes, CEO and Founder, who started LUME Painting in 2005. Luis has extensive experience in the field as a painter himself and has taken LUME to the front-lines as a painting contractor in the Twin Cities with more than 2,000 painting jobs in the last decade. Our team also includes Dario Restrepo, Supervisor, who brings several decades of experience and expertise in the field, and Milton Salcedo, Project Manager, who brings 2 decades of experience in building construction and architecture and a Master's degree in Sustainable Architecture.
