At Still Waters Biblical Counseling Ministry, we believe in the sufficiency of Scripture to address the issues of our lives and transform us to God's glory. Our ministry was founded in August 2003 by Paul and Maddie Walberg, and in March 2022, Pastor Gary Knapp assumed the role of Executive Director. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, officially incorporated with the State of Ohio, and recognized by the IRS.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help others come to know the peace of God in Christ, amidst life's struggles, through the knowledge and application of God's truth found in the Bible. We believe that God's Word addresses and has solutions for issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, and self-harm. Our goal is to provide guidance and support to individuals, couples, ministers, and churches, using Scripture as our foundation.
Our Services
We offer a range of services, including individual counseling, couples and pre-marital counseling, and ministry counseling for those in ministry. We also provide congregational counseling for churches and training resources for those seeking to deepen their understanding of biblical counseling. Our services are available in-person or remotely, making it accessible to those who need it.
