Who We Are

At Restoring Hope, we are a team of experienced professionals dedicated to providing counseling, coaching, and spiritual development services to individuals, couples, and families. Our mission is to come alongside those who are struggling and help heal their hurts and restore their lives, giving them new hope to reclaim their identity in Christ.

Our Services

Our team, led by Rikki and Kevin Gruen, has over thirty years of combined experience in professional counseling and ministry. We offer a range of services, including:

• Counseling: Our experienced counselors are trained to work with individuals, couples, and families on a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and co-occurring disorders.
• Spiritual Development: We offer coaching and guidance to help individuals deepen their relationship with God and live out their God-given destiny.
• Marriage Counseling: Our team has extensive experience in pre-marital counseling, infidelity, and parenting.
• Life Coaching: We help individuals and families set and achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, and find fulfillment.
• Trauma and Complex Trauma Treatment: Our team is trained in evidence-based therapies, including EMDR and CBT, to help individuals heal from past trauma.
• Pastoral Counseling: Our senior pastor and counselor, Kevin Gruen, offers guidance and support for individuals, couples, and families seeking spiritual guidance and direction.

Our Expertise

Our team has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanics, Burmese, Sudanese, Ugandan, Kenyan, and Sri Lankan populations. We have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, churches, group homes, women's shelters, Native Clinics, Community Mental Health, and Head Start classrooms.

About Our Leaders

Rikki Gruen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience in professional counseling and ministry. She has a Master's degree in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and has received further education through the University of Phoenix. Kevin Gruen is a pastor and counselor with over 25 years of experience in pastoral counseling, biblical discipleship, and spiritual growth. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and has received additional training in prophetic ministry and discipleship.

Our goal at Restoring Hope is to empower individuals, couples, and families to live a life of freedom, hope, and fulfillment. We believe that everyone has a God-given destiny and that our role is to help them discover and fulfill that destiny.
