Hi there! I'm Emma Hertzel, a licensed therapist in Tempe, Arizona, dedicated to guiding individuals and couples towards greater well-being. I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling, tailoring my strategies to each client's unique needs and concerns.

My journey towards becoming a therapist began with a deep-seated desire to understand and support others. My undergraduate studies in Social Work ignited my passion for working with individuals and communities, which led me to pursue a Master of Science in Social Work. My clinical experience has honed my skills in individual, couples, and group therapy, and I've honed my expertise in various therapeutic modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Beyond my clinical expertise, I bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic process. I have a rare neuromuscular condition that has taught me empathy, adaptability, and the importance of connection. I believe that this personal experience allows me to connect with clients on a deeper level and create a safe, supportive space for them to explore their concerns.
