Little Bear Childcare & Montessori Preschool is a home-away-from-home for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Our goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn important social skills, manners, and preschool fundamentals. We are committed to providing a child-centered approach to learning, where children are encouraged to explore and discover at their own pace.
Our Services
At Little Bear, we offer a year-round preschool program that is designed to foster holistic development. Our curriculum is based on the Montessori method, which emphasizes hands-on learning and individualized instruction. Children study areas of Practical Life, Sensory, Mathematics, Language and Cultural Studies through our child-centered classroom on our urban homestead.
In addition to our academic program, we also offer a variety of enrichment activities, including kid-friendly yoga sessions, farm life experiences, and summer activities. Our urban farm provides opportunities for children to learn about nature and animals, and to develop a sense of responsibility and caring for the environment.

Ms. Melissa, the educator and owner of Little Bear, has over 22 years of experience working with children. She is a member of NAEYC and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. Our team is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children.
Our Location
We are conveniently located in North Columbus, Ohio, near Morse Rd & I-71, making it easy for parents to drop off and pick up their children. Our location provides easy access for any commute.
