With a rich history spanning over three decades, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional design and construction services to our clients.

Our Story

Classic Design and Construction LLC was founded in 1981 by Cynthia SteMMer Denny, a licensed landscape architect and registered engineer. With a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon, Cynthia started her career with EckboKay and Associates in San Francisco before establishing STEMMER GARDENS, a design-build landscape architecture firm in Larkspur, California. In 1984, she joined forces with her husband, Dean M. Denny, a journeyman carpenter, irrigation consultant, and plant installation manager. Together, they expanded the firm to include design-build fine homes.
