Company History

Since its inception in 2000, SHC has grown from a parent company of two freestanding acute psychiatric care facilities in Southern California to a national healthcare provider that owns and operates 19 hospitals across five states. SHC also manages and operates a senior independent living facility in Pasadena, California. SHC's hospitals provide a wide variety of daily scheduled activities and special outings for residents, as well as assisted living for those who need more intensive care.
