Welcome to Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy, one of the oldest surf schools in Maui, Hawaii. Our story began in 1998 when our founder, Kimo Kinimaka, and his wife Julie, followed their passion for surfing and opened the doors to our surf shop and school. Deeply rooted in our culture, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn the art of surfing.

Our Services
We offer a range of services, including group and private surf lessons, as well as stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lessons. Our expert instructors provide personalized guidance and instruction to ensure that our students feel comfortable and confident in the water. Our group surf lessons are a fun and affordable way to learn to surf, while our private and semi-private lessons offer a more tailored experience. Our SUP lessons take you on a tour of Maui's most beautiful beaches, allowing you to polish your SUP skills while taking in the stunning marine life.
