Our Story

Jim Foertsch, a certified project manager with the Project Management Institute (PMI), has over 30 years of experience in the sign industry. He started his own well-respected sign business, D & F Signs, Inc., in 1988, which he owned for 12 years. Before starting ISS Signs, Inc., Jim held several positions in the sign industry, including selling and project managing over 200 new Sleepy's Mattress Professionals locations throughout the Northeast US. With extensive knowledge in all phases of the industry, including sales, survey, design, project management, and installation of both interior and exterior signs, ISS Signs has a competitive advantage in the fast-paced New York market.

We specialize in interior signage for property management, medical, financial, and banking, architectural and building, and higher education. We have extensive experience with large buildings and multiple locations. Our services include:

• On-Site Consultation: We will meet with you or your representative at your location to review and discuss your needs and make suggestions, offer ideas, and discuss options and alternatives based upon our many years of experience and industry knowledge.
• Survey of Your Facilities & Locations: We will thoroughly review your locations and facilities, photograph proposed work areas, measure all locations, walls, and areas where work is proposed for sizes and colors, and confirm and catalog any existing signs.
• Sales: We provide written proposals for proposed work, itemizing work to be performed for easy review and substitution.
• Design: We provide sketches for proposed work based upon your feedback and our recommendations, and will work with you to modify your designs so you are happy with the final layout.
• Project Management: We will manage every aspect of your project to its successful completion, utilizing our certified project manager and staff with many years of sign industry experience.
• Installation: We will install your signs, taking pride in our work and ensuring a clean and professional finish. We can also arrange installs outside of business hours for busy areas.
• Future Add-on Orders & Changes: We will work with you for future add-on orders and changes, ensuring new signs match your existing formats and maintaining consistency.
