Our Story
The Malka family has been in the diamond business for over three generations. We started Malka Diamonds in Portland's Pearl District in 2010, with the goal of continuing our family's legacy of craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. Today, our team includes a GIA Certified Gemologist, a former GIA grader, and other expert jewelry restoration specialists.

Custom Design: Our state-of-the-art jewelry workshop is home to two exceptional craftsman jewelers who work closely with you to create a custom piece that's elegant, stylish, and truly unique.
Restoration & Repair: Our expert craftsmen can repair and resize rings using our in-house laser welding machine, and our skilled jewelers can restring pearls, clean and polish jewelry, and provide jewelry appraisals.
Jewelry Appraisal Services: Our appraiser is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, and we use cutting-edge valuation software to ensure accurate and fair appraisals.
Permanent Jewelry: We offer permanent, laser-welded jewelry, custom-sized to fit you. It's the perfect gift for you or a loved one, and a unique way to mark a special relationship.
Re-Stringing Pearls: We can prolong the life of your pearls by re-stringing and inspecting the clasps, and even replace missing pearls with matching ones.
Cleaning, Polishing, and Inspection Services: We offer professional cleaning, polishing, and inspection services to ensure your jewelry looks its best. Our experts will inspect your jewelry to identify any potential issues and provide recommendations for repair or maintenance.
