A Family Affair
From day one at Rock Martin Custom Jewelers, it's been a family affair. Rock Martin started his jewelry career in high school, and his passion for designing custom jewelry only grew from there. After serving his country in the Navy, Rock and his family settled in the beautiful village of Laguna Beach, where he quickly discovered his unique custom-designed jewelry pieces were a hit. In 1968, Rock's designs were accepted into the famous Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival, a prestigious honor that set him on a path to becoming one of the most respected jewelers in Laguna Beach.
In 1969, Rock opened his first jewelry store in the Laguna Beach Village Faire Plaza, and in 1972, he moved to our current location on Forest Avenue, in the heart of Downtown Laguna's shopping district. Today, Rock's daughter, Heather Martin McFadden, and her husband, Michael McFadden, carry on the family tradition as talented and respected jewelry designers, providing contemporary pieces that are purchased by Laguna Beach locals and tourists who want custom jewelry designs that fit their personal lifestyles.
