Our Story
Our law firm was founded by Jaimie Washo Spivey, who has 15+ years of experience in criminal defense. Jaimie began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Lake and Sumter County State Attorney's Offices in 2009. After 3 and a half years as a Prosecutor, she worked as an Assistant Public Defender before opening her own criminal defense firm in 2014. John Spivey, Board-Certified in Criminal Trial Defense, has notably tried jury verdict in over 200 cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree murders where the death penalty was sought. Together, Jaimie and John have partnered their talent and experience to serve Tavares, The Villages, Bushnell, and other Central Florida locations.
