Our Services
We offer a wide range of services to meet the healthcare needs of your pets. Our services include acupuncture, boarding, dental care and radiography, digital radiography, in-clinic diagnostics, surgery, and wellness visits. We also offer scheduled drop-off services for checkups and minor problems for a small additional fee.
Our History
Located in Baton Rouge's Mid-City/Goodwood area, Capital Heights Veterinary Clinic is an independent, locally owned practice that has been serving the healthcare needs of pets for almost 50 years. Established in 1973 and originally known as Mistretta Veterinary Clinic, the practice was purchased by Dr. Emily Taylor in 2010 and renamed Capital Heights Veterinary Clinic. Through hard work and the support of loyal clients, the clinic outgrew its previous facility and moved to a newer and larger building at 7662 Goodwood Boulevard in 2015.
