Our Story
Marc and Thierry, the founders of L'Appart Air Food, come from different backgrounds but share a common passion for good food and sneaker culture. They met in Paris, where Marc was a contractor in logistics and Thierry was a chef in London and Paris. After a chance encounter at a shoe sale, they decided to collaborate on a project that would share their passion for food. Starting with pop-up restaurants, they eventually transformed their concept into a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. From traditional French cuisine to French and world fusion from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America, our menu is designed to take you on a culinary journey.

Our Risotto is enriched with a blend of earthy mushrooms and luxurious burgundy truffle, finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan. Our Duck Confit is tender and served with a vibrant red fruit and wine sauce, accented by the pop of mustard seeds. And our Duck Tartar is blended with our secret sauce, accompanied by fresh beets, mango, shallot, and parsley for a burst of flavor and color.
