About Our Therapist

Larry Lawson, LCSW, MFT, is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist with over 30 years of experience. His extensive background in child welfare and child protection has given him a unique perspective on the struggles faced by families. After 20 years in a field office as a worker and supervisor, he pursued a new career as a counselor and therapist. Larry holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the National Association of Social Workers.

As a seasoned therapist, Larry specializes in helping clients work through relationship conflicts and creating better human connections. His areas of focus include:

• Counseling for unsatisfying and problem relationships
• Navigating and coping with the emotional and legal processes of divorce
• Child Custody issues, including evaluations for couples unable to reach an agreement on parenting arrangements
• Mediation of family disputes, including child custody in divorce, dealing with aging parents
