Our Founder
Dr. Gretel Garcia, a Board-Certified Doctor of Oriental Medicine, founded Gretel Acupuncture in 2013. With over 13 years of combined experience in the health industry, Dr. Garcia has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness. She received her Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, FL, and is certified by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

- Acupuncture: an ancient Chinese medical practice that involves the insertion of very thin needles into the skin at specific points of the body to stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and improve the flow of energy, or qi.
- Auricular Therapy: a microsystem of the entire body, with over 200 acupressure points, used to treat headaches, back pain, stress, weight loss, and more.
- RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy): a powerful, effective, and empirically based form of therapy that combines hypnotherapy with elements of neuroscience, neuroplasticity, psychotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), gestalt therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) to eliminate negative unhelpful beliefs and replace them with new positive healthy beliefs.
- Professional Massages: offering multiple types of massages, including Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Prenatal, and more.
- Cupping Therapy: a modality from Chinese Medicine that creates local suction on the skin to promote healing and stimulate circulation.
- Herbology: using Chinese herbs to create customized prescriptions tailored to individual patients.
- Moxa (Moxabustion): using a tobacco-like stick to warm regions and acupuncture meridians, stimulating circulation and promoting healing.
- Facial Rejuvenation: a non-surgical and safe treatment that softens wrinkles, improves muscle tone, and reduces puffiness and bags under the eyes.
- Weightloss/Dietary: a combination of Acupuncture, Auricular Therapy, Herbal Medicine, exercise, and nutrition.
- Tuina Massage: originated in ancient China, it stimulates the flow of qi to promote balance and harmony within the body.
- Bio Light Treatment: emitting the frequency of a healthy cell to rejuvenate from the inside out, part of our facial acupuncture treatment.
- Prenatal Massage: helping to reduce anxiety, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
