At Green River Pottery, we are a studio and gallery dedicated to the art of ceramics. Located in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, we have been teaching and creating pottery for over two decades. Our Story
Our story begins with our founder, Theo Helmstadter, who has been a potter for over 25 years. With a background in philosophy and French literature, Theo's love for clay and ceramics has led him to create a unique and distinctive style that reflects his connection to the natural world and the past. The studio has been in its current location at the Lena Street Lofts since 2008, and has been a staple in the Santa Fe art community since 1998.

Private Pottery Classes
