We work for the families, and will do everything in our power to help them in any way that we can.

Care Options

We offer a range of senior living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Independent living apartments are designed for seniors who can live independently but may appreciate the convenience of community services. Assisted living provides a higher level of care, including meals, laundry, utilities, maintenance, transportation, and care. Memory care is specifically designed for those with advanced dementia, with secure units to prevent wandering.

Independent Living apartments are very similar to one or two bedroom apartments, but made from the ground up with seniors in mind. They include full kitchens as well as washers and dryers located in New York. The community is responsible for all maintenance, utilities, and activities. Meals are often included as well. While no care will be provided by the community, residents are free to utilize private home care aides if desired.

Assisted Living offers private studios, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartments, most with kitchenettes, while some have full kitchens. Almost everything is covered by the community including meals, laundry, utilities, maintenance, transportation, and care. Many communities charge rent plus the cost of care. Memory Care provides assisted living for those with advanced dementia, with secured units to prevent wandering.

We are fortunate to have several communities in New York that are capable of handling people with very high care needs, or those with complex behaviors due to their dementia. Our services begin with a call to discuss care needs, desired location in New York, as well as budget, which helps us to hone in on which communities will be most appropriate. We schedule all the tours and accompany our families on all the visits to act as their advocate throughout the process.
