Wayne Overton, the founder of Surface Surgeon, has been at the forefront of the solid surface countertop industry for 28 years. Having owned and operated one of the most advanced solid surface countertop fabrication facilities in the Northeast, he has serviced over 400 big box retail locations, including Home Depot and Lowes, from Maine to Virginia. His expertise has been featured in numerous DuPont Corian training videos, specialized techniques publications, and magazine publications. In 2010, Wayne semi-retired to South Florida, where he saw a need for a solid surface countertop repair and refinishing company, leading to the birth of Surface Surgeon.
