The Savannah Golf Club is an exceptional private club that offers a unique blend of golf, family-friendly atmosphere, and opportunities to meet people and expand business networks. Established over a century ago, our club has a rich history that is reflected in our stunning Low Country location, our southern hospitality, and our commitment to providing a top-notch country club experience.
Golf
Our golf course is known regionally as one of the most beautiful and challenging courses, with hundred-year-old oak trees, Civil War earthen berms, and flowering wild roses and azaleas. Designed by Donald Ross, our 18-hole championship golf course boasts a Par 72 layout that spans 6,481 yards, providing a challenge to golfers of all skill levels while remaining member-friendly. Our course features historic Civil War bunkers, moss-draped oaks, and unique water features that give way to natural undulations of topography, making it both memorable and walkable.
We are proud to have lead golf course architect Gil Hanse onsite, leading a hands-on restoration of the golf course. With his expertise and guidance, we have been able to restore the original Donald Ross designs back to life, enhancing the overall golfing experience for our members.
Court Sports
Our club offers an active tennis and pickleball year-round program for all ages and skills. Our Court Sports facility boasts 6 clay courts, 8 pickleball courts, and a state-of-the-art Pickle Bar & Pavilion, providing top-level instruction with experienced USPTA and PTR certified tennis and pickleball professionals. We offer competitive, social, and league tennis and pickleball, clinics, ladder play, bootcamps, and a game arranging program to set up that "Perfect Match."
