Welcome to Cocos Boat Rentals, a family-owned company established in 2014, operating in Marathon, FL Keys. Our mission is to ensure that you, our valued customers, enjoy a true Keys experience while navigating our beautiful waters on the Atlantic or Gulf side of the island. The Keys are renowned for their stunning blue waters, exceptional fishing, unforgettable snorkeling, and breathtaking sunsets.
Our Fleet
We offer a range of center consoles boats, ranging from 19 feet to 27 feet in length, equipped with Garmin or Hummingbird GPS, chart plotter, depth finder, and fish finder. All boats are also outfitted with depth sounders and stereos. Our rentals are designed to provide you with an unforgettable boating experience in the Florida Keys.
Reservations and Cancellation Policy
Daily reservations can only be booked within 7 days in advance and are not available during peak season. A daily reservation deposit of $50 is required, which is non-refundable if you cancel or no-show. For multi-day reservations, a $150 deposit is required, and a 1-week notice is required to cancel. If you cancel less than 1 week in advance, there is no refund.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Minimum Age: Lessees must provide photo identification showing they were born before January 1988 to rent a boat in Florida. Lessees aged between 21 to 36 years old must also possess a Boaters Identification Card.
- Experience: Lessees with less than 5 years of experience operating a vessel on the ocean must take a Safety Boating Course online.
- Navigation Limitations: Lessees agree to restrict operation of the rental boat to the following areas: 10 miles from shore on the Atlantic side, 10 miles from shore on the Florida Bay side, and from the Long Key Bridge to the end of the Seven Mile Bridge.
Operating Hours and Safety Reminders
Rental boats must be returned by 4:30 pm on the final day of the rental period. For multi-day rentals, boats can be kept overnight if a secure dock is provided. Operating a vessel before sunrise or after sunset is strictly prohibited.
