Cataract Care
Our cataract surgeons have collectively performed over 40,000 procedures using state-of-the-art technologies. Cataracts are a clouding of the natural lens of the eye resulting in blurring of vision and/or light sensitivity. Our treatment options include removal of the cloudy lens and replacement with a clear lens implant. This is a cataract operation. In general, this is an excellent surgery with a better than 99% chance of visual improvement. Like all surgeries, there are some risks, including infection, swelling, bleeding, glaucoma, and retinal detachment.
Glaucoma Care
Our glaucoma surgeons specialize in the latest minimally invasive procedures used in glaucoma care. These procedures pose fewer risks and have quicker recovery times than traditional glaucoma surgeries. Our glaucoma procedures include MIGS, OMNI surgical system, MicroPulse Cyclophotocoagulation Laser Therapy, and Goniotomy. Our team is dedicated to providing the latest in glaucoma treatment options.
Dry Eye Disease
Our office offers the latest treatments for dry eye disease, including BlephEx, a doctor eyelid cleaning procedure to help maintain clean and healthy lids. We also offer LipiFlow, a treatment device that applies heat and massage to both the outer and inner eyelids. This application has been shown to be an extremely effective process for clearing blockages found in the Meibomian glands, allowing them to produce the oils and function properly.
Oculoplastics
Our oculoplastics surgeons specialize in the latest surgical procedures for the orbit and eyelids, including blepharoplasty, brow lift, and enucleation. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for our patients with eye socket disorders, eyelid malformations, and tear duct abnormalities.
