Our Story
In 2012, we officially became Hackbarth Hospitality Group, unifying our three event venues - Vista, The Atrium, and Birch - under one parent group. Our founder, Paul Hackbarth, envisioned a company that would not only provide exceptional events but also a unique atmosphere for our clients and their guests. Venue Ambiance and Features
The Birch venue offers a perfect balance of urban indoor and outdoor settings, with a gorgeous outdoor patio and beautifully decorated indoor areas. The venue is aesthetically pleasing, with a modern and clean setting. The outdoor patio is lovely and can be used for ceremonies.
Staff and Service
The staff at Birch are friendly and helpful. Ray, Annie, and Sarah were mentioned specifically for their exceptional service. Annie, the "day of" coordinator, was phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and successful event. Zach, who helped with planning and booking, was kind, timely, and always on top of things.
Flexibility and Accommodations
The venue is flexible and can accommodate different needs. There are indoor and outdoor options available for ceremonies and dinners. The venue also has suites for the bride and groom on site, which is a major bonus. Parking is not an issue, and the venue is convenient for guests.
Food and Beverage
The bartenders at Birch are great and can handle large crowds. The venue has a fully stocked bar and a space for a caterer. The staff is accommodating and can adjust to different needs.
Criticisms and Areas for Improvement
One reviewer mentioned that the venue is not convenient for families with young children, as there is no changing station in the bathrooms or seating area for nursing/pumping. Another reviewer had issues with communication, citing a lack of response to inquiries.
