Meet Dr. Ricardo Silva, Optometrist

Dr. Ricardo Silva is a highly experienced optometrist who has been serving the Miami community for many years. He specializes in contact lenses, including Toric and Multi-focal lenses, as well as eye conditions such as Keratoconus. Dr. Silva also provides comprehensive eye exams to ensure the overall health of your eyes.

Growing up in Miami, Dr. Silva attended the University of Miami, where he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering. He then went on to earn a MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California. After working as an engineer in Silicon Valley and Sunrise Florida, Dr. Silva decided to pursue his passion for optometry and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree, with Honors, from Nova Southeastern University. During his studies, he developed a keen interest in specialty contact lenses and has since focused on providing the best possible care for his patients in this area.

• Contact Lens Exams and Fittings: Our optometrist, Dr. Silva, has extensive experience in fitting contact lenses. We offer a wide variety of contact lenses, including toric and multi-focal lenses, and will help you find the best fit for your needs.
• Specialty Contact Lenses: We specialize in fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus and other eye conditions. We offer a variety of options, including scleral and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses.
• Eyeglasses: We offer a wide selection of eyeglasses to suit your individual style and vision needs. Our experienced staff will help you find the best frames to complement your face shape and personal style.
• Optical Services: Our optical services include adjustments, repairs, and cleaning of your eyeglasses. We also offer prescription sunglasses and safety glasses.
