At Greenville Martial Art Center, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive martial arts program for families, children, and adults. Our mission is to promote physical fitness, self-discipline, and mental well-being through expert instruction in Taekwondo and Hapkido.

Our Services

We offer a range of martial arts programs designed to cater to different ages and skill levels. Our Little Tigers program is specifically designed for children aged 4-6 years old, providing a fun and engaging environment for young kids to learn the basics of martial arts. Our week-night and Saturday programs feature two unique martial art styles: Taekwon-do and Hapkido. These classes are open to both kids and adults, allowing families to participate together.

Our instructors are highly skilled and dedicated to providing a supportive environment for students of all ages and abilities. Whether you're looking to improve your physical fitness, learn self-defense techniques, or simply have fun, our programs are designed to cater to your needs.

Hapkido Program

Hapkido is a Korean martial art that emphasizes joint locking and throwing techniques to subdue an opponent without causing serious injury. Our Hapkido program is designed for ages 7 and up and focuses on teaching main skills to subdue an opponent through joint locks and throws. Our instructors will guide you through defense against wrist grabs and hugging techniques, all designed to teach you how to defend yourself effectively.

Taekwon-Do Program

Taekwon-do is a Korean martial art that emphasizes physical fitness, self-defense, and discipline. Our Taekwon-do program is designed for ages 4 and up, with classes available for children, adults, and families. Our instructors will guide you through a series of forms, free sparring, and board breaking combinations to help you improve your technique and overall well-being.

Day Camps

Our Day Camps offer a fun and engaging way for families to spend time together, focusing on fitness, teamwork, and building trust among family members. Our Winter/Spring/Summer Day Camp options include discounts available for the whole family.

Adult & Family Programs

Our Story

Greenville Martial Art Center was founded by Chris Key, a martial arts expert with over two decades of experience. Chris's journey began at Clemson University, where he joined the Hapkido Club as a first-time martial arts student. After graduation, he and fellow Hapkido student Krissy began teaching Hapkido classes in Greenville. Today, our school is proud to offer a comprehensive martial arts program for families, children, and adults.
