At American Animal Hospital in Omaha, NE, we're pet lovers first, and vet professionals second. Our passion for exceptional pet care and customer service is fueled by our respect for the human-animal bond, and the incredible relationships we are able to form with people and their pets in our community. As a full-service animal hospital, we are able to provide for your pet's wide-ranging needs; from wellness exams and dental cleanings to surgery and cold laser therapy, there is very little we can't do!

Wellness Care: Wellness is central to your pet's care; it involves thorough, routine examinations, lab work, and detailed discussions about their health, nutrition, and other factors.
Vaccinations: Vaccines give your pet a high level of protection against rabies, distemper, and other diseases. We offer a variety of core and non-core vaccines for dogs and cats.
Dental Care: Routine dental care is essential to the prevention of gingivitis and dental disease. We can perform thorough teeth cleanings to treat tartar buildup, and offer advice for your pet's at-home care.
Surgery & Orthopedics: Our veterinarians can perform a wide range of soft-tissue surgeries, as well as general orthopedics to treat bone fractures, ligament injuries, and more.
Laser Therapy: Pain relief can play an important part in keeping your pet healthy. We offer laser therapy as a drug-free pain management option that brings out your pet's own healing abilities.
Critical Care: We provide top-notch hospitalization and critical care at our hospital, with a dedicated ICU, advanced equipment, and an isolation ward for potentially infectious diseases.
